This project was truly heart-warming - I was asked to design a mural that would help transform an area of the Children’s Hospice garden into a serene Garden of Reflection. It was important to include symbolic elements that the families and staff could relate to and make sure that the space would have have an uplifting feeling.
We ended up with a space filled with peace, love, and remembrance - families are also invited to make personal dedications by placing handcrafted hearts onto the mural, creating a shared tapestry of love and memory.

This would not have been possible without the help of the people who volunteered their time to help paint the mural and tend to the garden. Special thanks to Refugee Futures, Emma Dyson, Jayne Cranston, ARC Stockton Arts Centre and Wellington Square team.
